Burradong Baulkham Hills
The Burradong Project
Residential Interior Design
Client Brief
This residential project in Baulkham Hills involved the design of a master suite, including a fresh, modern bathroom, walk-in wardrobe joinery, and a fully considered furnishing scheme.
The brief called for a refined, contemporary aesthetic that balanced functionality with a calm, elevated atmosphere. The intent was to create a cohesive and highly considered private retreat, tailored to both comfort and practicality.
The scope encompassed paint selections, hardware, flooring and carpet selection, joinery design, spatial layout, and detailed scaled drawings, extending through to window furnishings and furniture. Trade liaison and site visits formed a key part of the process, ensuring the design intent was carried through during construction. Full documentation was provided to support a seamless transition from concept through to implementation.
Design Approach
The design centres on a clean, modern palette, softened through layered materials and subtle tonal variation. A focus on proportion, detailing, and spatial flow informed the bathroom and joinery layouts, ensuring both functionality and visual clarity.
Joinery was designed to maximise storage while maintaining a refined, streamlined aesthetic, while the selection of finishes and furnishings contributes to a cohesive and restful master suite environment.
Design Outcome
The result is a cohesive master suite that balances practicality with a refined, modern sensibility. Each element has been thoughtfully integrated to create a calm, elevated space that supports everyday living.
